The Canterbury Automobile Association have decided to hold a reliability trial to Dunedin and back, starting from Christchurch on December 27, and completing the journey on the same day, staying two days at Dunedin, and leaving on return on the 50th, reaching Christchurch on the same day. OTAGO MOTOR CYCLE CLUB. At the monthly meeting of the Otago Motor Cycle Club, held last night (some twenty members being present), a letter was received from Mr John Hi slop offering a silver cup for first prise for a reliability trial by a private owner to RanJurly and back. —It was decided to hold the triiil on Saturday, December 10, and to run the event in two classes—private owners and trade riders.—Messrs Cooke, Howlison, and Co. made an offer of a first prize for the trade riders’ class.
