Sir, —Up till to-day I was inclined to support Mr W r alk»r at the coming election, but seeing that he is going to hold a meeting of his own on the same niirht as the public indignation meeting I feel constrained to withdraw my support. I think Mr Walker should have recognised the gravity of the proposed stoppage of the Lawrence-Roxburgh line means to Dunerlin, and lent his voice to-night in protest along with Mr M'Donald.—l am, etc., J.R.
