DRUIDISM.

The installation of P.A. Bro. J. Hudson as District President of No. 2 District took place at the fortnightly meeting of the Royal Oak Lodge, "and it niiist have been gratifying to the members of that lodge to see such a large gathering of officers and brethren of the Order present to do honor to Bro. Hudson. The Grand Lodge officers were also present. D.P. Bro. Alexander acted as installing officer, and conducted the ceremony in a verv impressive manner. Bro. Hudson, 'in reply, expressed his gratification at the large attendance, and narrated some incidents during His career in the cause of Druidism which were very pleasing, especially to the younger members, and concluded by thanking the lodges for placing him in the honorable position of District President. D.G. President Bro. A. W. Shelton, in responding to the toast of the Grand Lodge, eulogised Bro. Hudson's past services to the Order, and congratulated him on his appointment. The Bay Lodge having decided to proceed witli the necessary alteration to the building recently purchased, with a view to having a more suitable lodge room, Bro. Hodges was instructed to carry out the work, and the members of the Order will now have the pleasure of visiting the Bay Lodge in their new hall at the next me</ting, and no doubt there will be a large attendance on that occasion. Every credit is due to the officers and members of the Bay Lodge for the way they have persevered with their scheme. The Hall Committee have carried out their duties ma pleasing manner, and are delighted with the assistance received from members towards the furnishing of the hall. The building will no doubt serve the Bay Lodge for a number of years, and prove a very comfortable meeting room.
