GOOD TEMPLARY.

The Lily of the Valley Lodge held their weekly meeting in the Albany" Street Oddfellows' Hall on Monday (Bro. W. Edwards presiding), when there was a large attendance of members and visitors. A challenge to a debate was received from the li-owue Lodge, Bros. M'C'onnell, 31' Lean, and Prince being appointed to take part. An invitation to a social evening from the same lodge was also accepted. Two candidates were initiated, after which the meeting was thrown open to ex-mem-bers and friends, a goodly number availing themselves of the opportunity. The programme was then proceeded with, the following contributing :—Sis. Patterson (pianoforte solo), Bro. G. Paterson (song), Sis. K. Barton (recitation), Bro. J. Patterson (song), Sis. Wailing (recitation), .Mr W. Hay (pianoforte solo), Bro L Helm (song), Sis. Ahlbrant (song). Bro' N M'Lcan (song), and Bro. J. M'Connell (song). Bro. M'Kinlay, in inoviii" a vote of thanks to visitors and performers expressed the gratification of the members at seeing so many old members and friends present, The vote was carried by acclamation. Sis. Cameron responded.
