(Received December 29, at 8.45 a.m.) Joseph Racke, an undergraduate at the University of Bonn, and the son of a millionaire at Mayence, spent his Christmas at home. He rose at two in the morning, and stealthily stabbed to death his sleepiiig father and three sisters, but the remainder of the household were undisturbed. Racke returned to his bed and slept until the discovery of the crime in the morning. He attributed his deed to his father refusing to advance him large sums of monev.
