AN ANARCHIST'S DEATH
SUICIDE FOLLOWS MURDER, Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. ST. PETERSBURG, December 28. The police tried to arrest a suspected Anarchist who had barricaded himself in the second storey of a Moscow villa. The suspect, drawing his revolver, shot and killed the .superintendent of the gendarmerie and badly wounded the second officer. He then kept the police at bay for several hours, wounding Colonel Cotten (chief of the Moscow detective department! another officer, and a policeman. Finally he committed suicide.
