THE RELIABILITY TRIAL
[Pee Untied Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH. December 29. The motor rcliabdity trial, run to-day, will be over 150 miles of countrv lying between Christ-church and Rakaia, through thA Rakaia Gorge and Methven, and back via Ellesmere. The country ie of a kind to try the tars both on the hill and the Hat, and all in the competition started this morning. As the trial is not one of 'speed but of reliability the times, though taken, are no clement in the conic. .t, but a. limit is imposed of five hours. The weather is excellent to-day, as it was yesterday, and the work to date has been eminently satisfactory.
