COOPERS' WAGES. AUCKLAND, October 27. The Arbitration Court have fixed the wages of coopers at the rate, offered by the employers—viz., £2 15s per week, being an increase of 3s per week—and a reduction of one hour in the week's work. The Otago Grocers' Assistants' Union are framing demands for increase in wages and limitation of hours.
