VOLUNTEERING.
The Dunedin Naval Artillery go into camp 011 Friday next at Central Battery for the annual sixteen days’ training. The big gun shooting will take place on Weidnesday and Thursday, 11th and 12th November, at 5 a.m., and on Saturday, the 14th, Colonel Davies inspects the division at the Heads, when the practice will take place from the 6in and Nordeufeldt guns. The past month has been taken up with gunnery examinations, so as to allow most of the time in camp to be taken up in training the various gun detachments for the artillery practice.
