GOOD TEMPLARY.
The Rescue Lodge held their usual meeting last night, when there was a very laree attendance of members and visitors present. Bro. A. Thomas occupied tho chair. The main business for the evening was the election of officers for next quarter. Prior to the adult meeting, the Star of the South Juvenile Temple held a meeting, when there was an attendance of forty-five juvenile members. Five candidates were initiated. This temple is going to prove one of the best in the Dominion. They are initiating juveniles every meeting "night, having initiated about twentyfive boys and girl in the past quarter. At the adult lodge the Evergreen Lodge were received officially. The election of officers resulted as follows:—C.T., Bro. A. Thomas (re-elected) ; V.T., Sis. Watling (re-elected); marshal, Bro. Buchan (reelected); secretary Bro. W. Ties; A.S., Bro. Head; F.S., Bro. Robertson (reelected) ; treasurer. Sis. Rainham; chaplain, Sis. Howie; D.M., Sis. M. Thomas; reporter, Bro. Hilton; organists, Sisters R. Hughes and Hilton (re-elected); registrar, Sis. Watling; P.C.T., Bro. P. Sutton (re-elected). Harmony was contributed by the following: l —Songs—Sisters L. Scott and Ahlbrint, Bros. G. Paterson, J. Paterson, and Hilton; duet by Bros.' G. Paterson and J. Paterson; piano solo, Sis. Paterson. The visitors' vote of thanks was responded to by representatives of Evergreen (Bro'. South, C.T.), Alliance (Bro. J. Ri'lstone), Pioneer (Sis. Scott), Star of Freedom (Bro. Paterson, C.T.), Hope of Caversham (Sis. Thorn).
