(Received June 19, at 10.40 a.m.) The name of the eight-year-old boy murderer is Robert Davis, not Robertson. He told his parents, when he got home, that a hyena had taken his little brother off in the bush. When further pressed he said that the child fell off his back. A search by the father revealed thu child hidden away with his head terribly battered. He died two hours later. • Robert subsequently stated at the inquest that his brother was too aeavy to carry all the way home, so he hit him on the head twice and then concealed him.
