ODDFELLOWSHIP.

The Loy-.il Dunedin Lodge, M.U., was established in 1862, and last night's meeting was in celebration of the fortv-sixth anniversary. There was a splendid attendance, about 150 brethren assembling in the lodge room, Stuart street. N.G. Bro. C. R. Richardson presided, and, after dealing with the ordinary business, the lodge resolved into an open meeting, a capital programme being arranged byP.S. Bro. 0. G. Naumann. The District Executive were received officially, and accorded the customary honors. P.G.M. Bro. J. Crawford, in responding, congratulated the Dunedin Lodge on its healthy condition after forty-six years of varied history. The lodge during its existence had paid out in sick pay £8,500, and in funeral claims £1,600, and the total worth of the funds at present stood at £16,186, an increase of £1,639 in the last four years. Bro. Crawford counselled the lodge as to their future actions in regard to various matters, and trusted that the success now enjoyed would be as proportionate when the lodge came to celebrate its jubilee. D.P.G.M. Bro. C. Wood, C.S Bro. J. A. Hopcraft, and LP.P.G.M. Bro. Munro also spoke in the same strain. The following programme was submitted and thoroughly enjoyed : —Songs by Bros. Sutherland, Sandys,' A. SJigo, Cramp, Fhnn, Duncan, and Ibbotson; recitations by Bios. Black and G. Galloway; and selections by an orchestra under "Bro. Kallmann. Refreshments were handed round during a convenient interval, and occasion was taken by the older members present to renew acquaintanceships and recall happy memories. The representatives of the Albion, Hand and Heart, Mosgiel, Valley, and Caversham Lodges responded to the second toast, ar.'d conveved congratulations to. t home lodge.
