Richard Ccrakh, the hueband, went on to eaj that a ctrango man dept at the hotel on the night of -Thursday. Witness did not know h;c name or his occupation. This man left on Monday without paying for his board. Witness made a mistake when he told Constable Marshall that ho discovered the body at ten minutes to ten, because h;s (v.-itness's) watch had stopped, fr.e time v as really abcut a quarter past two in the Mtentoon. Demand during the last seven months had I ten much addicted to drink. On there occasions they quarrelled, but witness had never struck her. She had been attended medically on account of bsr drinking. The inquiry is likely to last till late to-nighfc.
