Paulin’s forecast Squally to a gale *.W. and NAV. winds : heavy rain and sleet showers Captain Edwin telegraphs :—Westerly strong winds to a gale; tides good : sea heavy off shore ; glass rise ; weather nrohably colder; rain probable. Our Cromwell correspondent wires that vivid flashes of lightning accompanied bv heavy rain was experienced last night. There is snow on the ranges.
