A fire destroyed over a square mile of Chelsea, a 6uburb of Boston. Thirteen churches, two public libraries, a children's hospiiil, a dozen factories, and 400 tenement bu ldin.ee were burned. One death and fifty cases of injury arc reported. Embers from the fire were blown across the Chelsea River, and caused several of the Standard Oil Company's tanks to blow up. 10,000 PERSONS HOMELESS. NEW YORK, April 13. (Received April 14, #t 8.29 a.m.) The fire started in a ragpicker's shop. Ten thousand people have been rendered homeless. Four additional deaths are reported. The damage is estimated at two millions sterling.
