A Giaborne telegram records tho e'eath of .Alexander M'Kenzie, well known throughout the colony as a breeder of etud sheep. Mr M'Kenzie, years ago, was engaged profitably in the ©beep trade between Wellington and Oainani for tho Otago diggings, transporting 6,000 one year.
