CAVERS HAM SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
Tho monthly meeting of the above Committee, held last evening, was attended by Meters Todd (in the chair), Austin, Brown, Searle, Stevenson, Wright, Rutherford, and Thorn. The head-master made a very favorable report. The number on the roll was: Boys 291. girls 266; total, 557. The average attendance for tho past year was: Boys 278, girls 239; total, 518, or an average percentage of 92 of the total on the roll. Tho attendance banner was gained every week in December by Standard 11., with an average attendance of 99 per cent, of the roll total. The penny savings bank was well patronised during the year, and the credit balance stands at £SO 18s lOd. It was decided to hold the annual picnic at Warrington during the fireP week of tire session, which will commence in February. The Works Committee were instructed to have all the rooms of the school cleaned, painted, and distempered during the.recess, and the paths tarred and sanded.
