CHRISTCHURCH. January 8. In the seventeenth round Edwards heal ■Parker in a fast game on the 26th move. Archbishop Gould peat Sexton on the 24th move. Crackenthorp beat B. Mason on the 30th move, and the game entered' for the brilliancy prize. These were all the games finished at the luncheon adjourndent.
