CORNET AMATEURS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Some time ago several letters appeared in your columns anent the nuisance occasioned by the learners of the cornet, and one almost thought that: with public attention being ihus drawn, to it the nuisance would have been stopped. Not so, however, i Cresh candidate for comet honors has appeared, and does his practising in the very centre of tho town, in a hotel not 100 yards from the Arcade—surrounded on all sides by workers. How the boarders in the hotel stand it goodness only knows, but unless it is stopped wo must really get the licensing Committee to make an inspection. Toot! toot! toot! all day long is more than one can stand.—l am, etc, Worker. December 22".
