Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, as under : Overland, Northern ports, Christ-church, md intermediate offices, daily, 6.30 a.m. Late letters , 7.40: also on the mail van up to 8.5 a.m. For second express for Palroerston, Oamaru, Waimato, Timaru, -Ashburton, Christchurch, at 12.45 p.m. For Greymouth, Hoirftika, and Reefton, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 12.45 p,m. For South express trains at 7.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Late-fee letters must bear, in addition to the ordinary postage, Id. THE VANCOUVER SERVICE.
