J. T. Blake’s store at rear of building, occupied by Booth and Macdonald and- James and 'Edmonds, was owned by Mr A. T. Russell, and was insured for £6OO in the Sun. It is believed there is ho insurance on Booth’s Stock, valued at £SOO. The block destroyed is in the brick area, and .all the buildings were new, and consequently they were of brick.
