THE LAND BILL.
TO Till: EDITOR. Sir, —It is only fir to those outside the £50,000 limit to know why the distinction (■nvidicus somewhat) has been mado between owners rf country, urban, and city lauds. Tito unearned increment of the latter in-;;..T-C3 yearly, and yet they (the owners) escape the penal limit. It is interesting to knew that the London County Council estimate the increased value of landed property in London between the years 1871 and 1906 at more than £8,000,000 per annum, all of wliich has accrued to the landowners without- any action on their part. The same holds' goed for city lands in New Zealand and Australis. The Cabinet should certainly give reasons.—l am, etc., F.il. December 21.
