' (Received December 21, at 8.9 a.m.) Navigators in the vicinity of Remaire Strait often reported a phantom ship, and several of tbem had been wrecked wben going to assist, the supposed vessel. The United States Hydrographic Office hap solved the mystery, proving that it was a rock, which has now been clyirted. I'he rock resembles a ship in appearance, and through a mist or storm might be easily mi'taken for <me.
