Varions suggestions were put forward ■with a view to increasing tbn interest taken in the society, and. referred to a Bub-committee to briiaj up ai tuturo meeting. Xotice of motion wa3 given for next, meeting that tho dates of the winter shew bo fixed for Itesdxy, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Jtmo b, 5,; 6. and 7, and in the meantime the secretary to make mquiriea of tho Railway Departmenli as to the suitability of these dates for carrying the stock to and from the show. The question of tho county bays, which form ono of the chief attractions of .the winter show, was gone into, and a" «ab-comnut-tee set up to go carefully into the matter arid report at next meeting.
