Y.W.C.A.

Mr Chas. Wilson, of the South American Mission, now on furlough, gave a most interesting talk at the Y.W.C.A Hall on Saturday evening to the members of the Bible Class and others. Though an exceedingly wet night, which prevented many from coming, the audience was a good one, and very responsive. The subject, ' Some Women of South America,' gave opportunity for graphic descriptions of homo life, family customs, and of various individuals whose personal consecration to Christ were inspiring examples of faith and devotion. The pressing needs of South America with regard to the lack of workers to deal with the many who are waiting for the Gospel were clearly shown. A class for learning the Spanish language is about to be commenced by Mr Chas. Wilson at the Y.W.CA for the help of intending volunteers for service in the Argentine, and he will be glad during his short stay in Dunedin to give particulars to any who hope to become candidates for the mission.
