VALLEY UNITED MISSION.

A very large meeting in. connection with the united mission was held last night in ftie North-east Valley Town Hall. , The Rev. Alex. Allen, of" the Wesley Church, presided over the meeting, and* after the singing of the first hymn called for a few testimonies, many of the friends in the audience, both young and old, conforming to the invitation. The Rev. ]). S. Mason, of the Baptist Church, then gave a powerful address, basing his remarks upon the wellknown text found in Isaiah liii., 6: "AH we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of ui all." A hymn was next suncr. and then the Rev. H. *R. Gray (of the Presbyterian Church) spoke very impressively, his appeal resulting in two persons accepting ChrisJ as' their personal Saviour. The Salvatioi Army, who were represented on the platform, are doing excellent work for the mis cion in the open air. The united choir ( trained and led by Madame Von Look, hava al"o proved quite an acquisition to the mission with their cheerful singing. The mission will be continued all this week in the Presbyterian Church.
