[Pzr United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 24. Marion May Emens was arrested to-day on a charge of murdering her infant. The police stated in court that accused, who was not well enough to appear, was a single girl, twenty-three years of age, who gave birth to a child about a fortnight ago, the body being found in a barrel of lime and water at the place where accused was employed. She was remanded. WELLINGTON, September 24. A deputation of clergymen waited on the Minister of Railways and at'ked for a concession in railway fares to persons attending annual church conferences.
