Captain A. Monro (sailing master of the dredge Whakariri) has been appointed wharfinger to the Wellington Harbor Board. There were sixty-nine applicants. The teachers of the Ravensbourne Presbyterian Sunday School, in conjunction with the Bible classes and tihe Committee of Management, tendered a social and presentation at Ravensbourn© last evening to Mr Georg© D.
