CRICKETERS' CONCERT.

A concert in aid of the funds of the Albion and Opoho clnbs was given at All Saints' schoolroom last evening, and the promoters of the entertainment have every Teason to be satisfied with its success from a financial point of view, the, hall being full. The overture was played by Miss Eckhoff and Mr J. Kenny, and the first part of the programme took the,form of a minstrel variety entertainment, the tambos being Messrs E. Manley and A. Patterson, and the bones Messrs W. Shclton and H. Eckhoff. Songs were contributed by Messrs E. Manley, H. Mackay, W. Shelton, H. Eckhoff, R. Girvan, W. Cameron, and A. Patterson, and the" part concluded with a farce entitled ' Invercargill's Last Stand,' an amusing skit arising out of the licensing question. In the second part those who contributed to the programme were Messrs G. Lindsay, J. Black, M. Chadwick, W. O.wen, and T. Ireland. The programme concluded with a comedy in which the-parts were taken by Messrs E. Cummings; W. Cameron, H. Eckhoff, W. Sheltbri, E. Manley, B. Leighton, E. Girvan, A: iPat-
