In port noon to-day :—At Dunedin: Corinna, Pukaki, Invercargill (steam), Olive (sail). At Port Chalmers : Cape Corso, Warrimoo, Moana, To Anad, Progress, Timaru (steam). Mr M'Bride, late chief officer of the Manapouri, joined the Moura at Auckland to-day. Mr Burgess, who left here in the Moura, returns to Dunedin. The Oamaru dredge Progress's overhaul is expected to be completed by about the middle of next week. The Devon, from' Liverpool via Cape -Town and Northern porta of New Zealand, arrived off the Heads at 1 p.m. today. She left Lyttelton yesterday afterneon.

The Cape CorsS is discharging cement for the now dock at the George street pier. The Warrimoo, from Sydney via Cook Strait, arrived alongside the Bowen pier at 8 a.m. to-day, and steamed up to Dunedin on this afternoon's tide. She left Sydney at 9.30 p.m. on July 28, reached Wellington at 8.00 a.m. on tho Ist inst., leaving at 7.45' p.m. on tiie 2nd; arrived at Lyttelton at 9 a.m. on the 3rd, and left for headquarters at 5 n.m. same day. arriving as above. Sho- experienced favorable winds, with smooth sea throughout the passage. She brought transhipments, ex Australian, Innamincka, Ville do la Ciotat, Nardoo, Altona, Marmora, Chagsha, Airlie, Prinz Waldemar, Hessen. She sails from Dunedin for Melbourne at 3 p.m. to-morrow. The following passengers have booked for Melbourne :—Misses Harvie, Munro, Simon, Newmarch, Messrs Smart; seven steerage. The New Zealand Shinning Company's Ruapehu will probablv be at Port Chalmers shortly. It is proposed that she work the New Zealand ports in the following order :—Lyttelton, August 5; Bluff, August 9; Port Chalmers,' August 12; Timaru, August 15: Lvttelton, August 17; Napier, August 22; Wellington, August 25.

Neill and Co. have been advised that the Zealandia will leave Lvttelcn at 6.3G p.m. to-day. She is exnected to arrive alongside the loriguo wharf about 2 p.m. to-morrow.

The Koonya is bringing 800 tens of coal from he West Cons, and is expected to arrive here to-morrow morning. The Invercargill arrived from tho South at 3.45 a.m. yesterday.

The Corinna, from New Plymouth, arrived at 10.15 n.m. vesterday, and waj berthed at Lower Jetty street wharf.

ROSE CASEY REFLOATED.

Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. have received word from their Southland offico that the Rose Casey was refloated yesterday and brought to Tnvercargill. It is honed to have her docked in Port Chalmers after a day or two preparatory to her taking up her running again. THE DIRECT STEAMERS.
