RAILWAY EXTENSION
The Railway Department has received notice to the effect that the extension of the Otago Central railway from Omakan to Chatto Creek will be open for traffic as trom the Ist prox. It is understod that the MotupikoTadmor section of the Midland Railway will also be opened for traffic on the Ist prox. Ihc section is ten miles long.
