CR GORE'S ALLEGATION.

Sir,—l was surprised on reading the report of the City Council meeting in connection with the sale of tramway tickets that Cr Gore alleged that the tram conductors weFe robbing them of money. I would like to know where Cr Gore gets his information from. It is a very serious charge to make against a large body of respectable men, and if there are men in the service who are defrauding the Corporation, let them be wrested at once, and the stigma now resting on every conductor in the service removed wit&out delays—-I am, etc., Ltkeral.
