In the House of Commons Mr Keir Hardie moved the redaction of Mr John Morlefs (Seoreteuy for India) salary in order to extend tbe scope of the discussion on the Indian Budget The motion, which was brought on in a thin Honae, was, with the assistance of the Unionists, defeated by 64 votes.
