THE EXHIBITION.
A FRESH WATER AQUARIUM. WELLINGTON, July 23. The. Marine Department has been authorised by the Cabinet to arrange for a fresh water aquarium at the Exhibition. A special building will be erected for the purpose. A large pool will be made in the centre of the floor for the reception of* the largest varieties of brown trout, and other fish will be distributed in si-cteen large glass tanks. The aquarium will be placed in charge of Mr Ayson. Chief Inspector of Fisheries.
