REMARKABLE FAITHHEALING STORY.

A Cardiff correspondent r- ports what is described as a' ciise of faith-Healing. A Mrs Jenkins, the wue of a weaver ot Llangober, was some timo ago stricken with paralysis, winch deprived her eutirtly of tho use of her limu=. An operation was performed upon her at- Swansea Hospital, and she had little reiicf. Afterwards she was visited by Mr Evan Rv.buts, and prayer meetiugs were hc.id :n her house. Mhe then claims to have had a vision of the raising of the widow's son at Nain. ami to havo heard heavenly voices addressing her. A vision of the jsaviour then uppe.ire.d to bor, and she was commanded to riso and walk. This she found she was able to do. She dressed herself unaided. The aflair has created a great impression in the district. At a sermon subsequently preached at tho Capel Mair Church the vicar (the Rev. Wm. Williams) dwelt on the marvellous results of faith. Mrs. Jenkins walked to and from the church, declaring that she felt stixngcr than ever. A Llanelly correspondent gives the following version of the incident: —" Mrs Mary Jenkins, who claims to have been healed by faith, is th-3 wife of a spinner iu a wool factory, living in a .small cottage between Llandyssil and Newcastle Emlyn. She has been bedridden with paralysis for seven years, and three years ago underwent an unsuccessful operation. Last winter romarkable scenes were witnessed at the little cottage. According to Mrs Jenkins, the visitation of the Holy Spirit created intense fervor, and the effect on her system was indescribable. She was distinctly ,told to leave her bed and walk, but darkness prevailed. On Sunday week she received another vision during the night, and experienced a terrible struggle. She says she saw in a vision Jesus placing hishand on a bier, and of a dead man coming to life. About mid-day on Monday a light flashed through her bed chair, and for a- short time she was in a state of complete collapse. When she came to herself again sho found that die had lost the use of her limbs, and was unable to either arm or leg. She then cried aloud: 'Oh, Father, how much more am I to endure before Thou wilt reveal Thyself?' The answer immediately came in a distinct voice ' Arise and walk,' while another voice said 'lf thou wilt not thou art sure to fall.' She at once obeyed tho command, and in a few minutes she began to move her arms and limbs, and eventually she raised herself, first in a sitting pasture, then on her knees, and finallv stood upright in bed. The next half-hour was spent in fervent praise and prayer for her recovery. The Holy Spirit, she says, again appeared, and told her ro dress, but she was not to leave the house until Sunday morning, when she was to attend Holy Communion on the great Feast of the Christian Pentecost at Capel Mair. Mrs Jenkins, together with her husband and a few friends, attended the church service on Sunday morning, when a special seat was provided for her in the aisle near the chancel. The vicar, at'the close of the service, expressed his pleasure at seeing Mrs Jenkins present, and said that when he; last saw her she was in bed and unable to move. He felt certain that her recovery was due to a miracle in answer to prayer. Mrs Jenkins, who was much affected, left with her friends at the close of the service."
