Suspecting that it came by way of Canada, tho officials kept a sharp lookout, and to-day they were rewarded by the seizure of 900 tins, valued tt £1,500, aboard the Miowera. The opium was discovered after the cargo had been discharged, stowed away under some loose boarding.
