FATIGUE.
TO THK EDITOR. Sir,—l was much impressed with the irticlee recently appearing in your paper on this subject. What is fatigue? Not the five hours a day in our schools, but the parked homo work. What do we find? i.'hildren -worrying abont fractions, decimals, md so on. This homo work may be acceptable in a small percentage of cases, but what about (1) the assistance rendered by parents who have long forgotten decimals, etc, (2) the indolent parents, (3) the irritable parents who have been f-laving nil day, (4) the over-indulient father. Overpressure is not in the school, but at home, where we have the after-hoars work.—l am, etc., J. Ecraovr Gttkk, July 20.
