Mails close at the Chief Post Office., Dunedin, as under:— Overland, Northern ports, Christehurch, and intermediate offices, daily, 6.30 a.m. Late letters 7.40; aJeo on the mail van up to 8 a.m. For second express for Palraerston, Oamam, Waimate, Timaru, Ash-bm-ton, and Christchurch, at 12.45 p.m. Also, Northern ports, at 12.45 p.m. on Saturday. For Greymouth, Hokitika. and Reefton, Monday and Thursday, at 12.45 p.m. For south express trains at 7.50 a.m and 5 p.m. Late-fee letters must boar, in addition to the ordinary postage, Id. Book packets and newspapers at 5 a.m on the 24th. The above mails will close at the branch Post Offices, North Dunedin, South Dunedin, Caversham, Roslyn, Mornington, and North-east Valley, for money orders at 4 p.m.,_and registered lettera at 5 p.m. on the 23rd, letters and newspapers at midnight on the 23rd. At the Port Chalmere office, letters at 6.30 a.m. on the 24th. Money orders close at 4 p.m. and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 23rd. The above mafl will bo due in London on tho 25th August. WEDNESDAY, JULY 25. Supplementary mails for America, tho United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, otc., will close at 6.30 a.m.. The Oswestry Grange, will leave Wellington- for London on Saturday, 21st, at 7.45 p.m. Due in London on 3rd September. Mails for tho Australian States, Norfolk, Now Hebrides, Banks, and Lord Howe Islands, per Mokoia, close at Auckland on Monday, 23rd inst., at 4.15 p.m. Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, per Navna, close at Auckland on the 24th, at 8.45 a.m. Mails from Melbourne for Durban and Gape Town, per Nineveh, 27th, via Fremantlo: Geelong, August 9, via Adelaide. The Paparoa will leave Wellington for London via Monte Video and Teneriffe on, tho 2nd August, at 1 p.m. Correspondence for the United Kingdom, specially addressed, will cLcee at this office on the Ist August, at 6.30 a.m. Parcel mail will close at 4 p.m. on the 31st Julv.
