[The End.] IS T E"W DOMESTIC LOVE STORY OP STRONG, SENSATIONAL INTEREST; CONTAINING MANY DRAMATIC INCIDENTS, WITH A WELL-WORKED. OUT PLOT. IT IS ENTITLED THE LORDSHIP OF LOVE, AND IS FROM THE PEN OF FLORENCE HOPE, Author of 'The Trials of Madge Hoberfejy • In the Clutch of Nemesis,' ' A Merciless Woman," etc, etc WE SHALL COMMENCE FIRST ORIGINAL PUBLICATION IN OUR COLUMNS On WEDNESDAY, JULY 25. It is with great pleasure that we place this charming love story before our readers, with the assurance that it will meet with a hearty reception. Love, tho fascinator, winds his web around the hearts of two people in this story. Hugh Hathericy, the millionaire, has made his money in the colonies, but his soul has remained untarnished in the process, and his heart is still young. He falls in love with Ina Chisholme, a girl of good family, with a gentle upbringing, whose "education has been acquired within the walls of a French convent. At tho time this couple meet Ina is living in the house of her uncle and aunt—a Dr and Mrs Bellew, of Harley street. Their only child, Flora, is a girl who, in her own sphere and environment, has been as much neglected in all that pertains to real education as any gutter child. With a home life that is utterly disasteful to her, a father who has no time to spare for her. and a mother whose only ambition is to get her child well married and out of the way, vhat wonder that she seeks to break the monotony of her existence with outside pleasures, all the more enjoyable in that they arc surreptitiously taken. Her errant feet commence the Dance of Life in earnest—on the boards. The villain of the story, one Cyril Carlyon, flies at higher game than Flora—no less a person than the lovely Ina Chisholme—and he is the cause of all the sorrow she has to endure. Like a veritable Judas, ho creeps into that picturesque home by the riverside, Cop3e Close, and, after undermining the happiness of three and the fair fame of two of its members, is allowed to escape without hindrance. But this story is essentially a love drama, and so Carbon is ultimately left to his own devices, while the reader pursues the more attractive paths that the true lovers walk in.
