SYDNEY, Judy 17The State Assembly is discussing Mr M*Gowan's motion censoring the Government for having failed to enable Parliament to vindicate its honor and dignity in connection with the ComnMHaoEers' report on the land ecandak. Mr M*Gowan admitted thai he had no hope of carrying his motion, and but little interest i» being shown in the debate. Mr W. P. Crick challenged Mr ATGowan to resign and contest his (Mr Crick's) seat with bim. SYDNEY, July 18. ' , (Received July 18, at 9.23 a.m-) The censure -.notion was negatived by fifty-three to twenty-one.
