SPORTING INTELLIGENCE
A meeting of the Albion Cricket Club was held in the Caledonia Hotel, King street, last evening, when it was decided- to improve the playing area and to provide turf wickets on the North Ground for the ensuing season. A strong committee were formed for the purpose of giving effect to the resolution. Mr J. J. Clarke presided at the-meeting. A Melbourne cable says :—The New Zealand horse Windy has been sold for 380 guineas.
