The wool sake close an Friday. The Poporangi clip sold at 20 l-18d, and the C. Kayaton at 12J-d. (Received July 18, at noon.) At wool sales there is a better tone for merinoes, and prices are slightly in eelles' favor. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,645,000 quarters, and for the Continent I,olo'ooo quarters. The Atlantic shipments were 111,000 quarters. Stocks and shares : National Bank of New Zealand, £5 to £5 10s; Bank of New Zealand debentures, £102; New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Gompany £94. The rest are unaltered. SYDNEY, Jnly 18.
