A leading Taranaki dairy company hare (says a loo.il paper) refused aa offer of 10jd, f.o.b. in New Plymouth, for the whole of their butter output next season. The company's estimated outpnt at this price would be worth about £BO,GOO. This will give some idea of what the condition of the batter market is expected to be next For the late season the high-est-price is said to have been 10^d.
