MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
At the half-yearly meeting of Linden Lodge, U.A-0.D., A.D. Bro. Wm. Duncan presided. The election of officers for the ensuing term resulted as follows: T.P.A., Bro. William Duncan; .Arch Druid, Bro. Wm. Sheehan; Vico Arch, Bro. William Hogg; A.D. Bards, Bros, James Steele and Daniel. Stewart; secretary, Thos Sunderland (re-elected); trear surer, Bro. F. Farley (rc-eleoted); V.A; Bards, Bros. Walter .Wilson and Philip Pomeroy; Inside Guardian, Bro. J. W. Walker; Outside Guardian, Bro. H; c! Playter. The officers were duly installed into their respective offices by D.P. Bro. Conner, assisted by D.G.V. President Bro, Mitchell. Two candidates were proposed!The usual toasts were duly given anci re-: sponded to by D.G.P. Bro. Smith. The visitors were D.G. President Bro. Smith D.G.V. President Bro. ' Mitchell, D'.Cf; Guardian Dro. Haymes, and. D.P. for No, 1 District (Bro. Conner).
