MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
Thor© was a fair audience at the Hope of Dunedin .mnivereary concert on Friday night laet. The chair was taken at 8 p.m. by the D.D.G.C.T., who wielded the baton. Tho programme wnt> a long and varied one, including vocal and instrumental items. The vote of thanks to tho visitors was carried with applause. The singing of the National Anthem concluded a successful night’s entertainment. During the evening rofreahmenfe were handed round.
