OVERWORKED CLERKS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—-After perusing the letters signed “Unionist” and “Clerk” in your issues of the 17th and 19th inst,, permit me as a clerk to express my appreciation of “ Unionist's ” letter. His letter was evidently written in sympathy, and it does not deserve the uncalled-for rebuke from “Clerk,” who probably thinks more of his prestige than the bettering of his fellow-being. His “backbone” and “attention to work”, read very well; but maybe bis position enables him to bray to some advantage.—l am etc., A Wn-iLDrai ok- the Quixl. March 20.
