MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
The quarterly meeting of the Trinmph Lodge, Protestant Alliance Friendly Society of Australasia, was held on Friday night in the lodtre-room, Duncan street, Sooth Dnnedjn. The lodge was opened by the W.M. (B*o. W v .Gny). Bro W. G. Lumfey, W.GLML, representative in the South, Island; vhose term had expired, thanked the members for the kindness shown him, and trusted they wopld accord the same to his successor. He also reported that, by the annual returns, the Triumph Lodge stood highest in the Order in New Zealand, botfc financially and numerically. The lodge were in iavor of a hranch of the F.S.
