Public Notices. What purity in Laundry Blue means in washing clothes. I Plue is used for bleaching—that is 8 for making white clothes look really white. - / It is mostly clothes that go next or near the skin —such as sheets, pillow slips, nightdresses, shirts, etc., that are bleached with Blue. If the Blue is impure—contains chemicals—it is injurious and doubly so, because the clothes are not thoroughly bleached, and also because the impurities irritate the skin. “Royal Blue” or Empire lue as it is often called is used exclusively in the Wellington Hospital Laundry, because of its efficiency and economy. ' “Royal Blue" is sold.by all storekeepers.
