SAWYERS BAY ASSOCIATION CLUB. The sixth annual meeting of the Sawyers Bay Association Football Club was held last evening. Mr G. Miller was voted to the chair, and read the annual report, which stated that the club were represented by one junior team last season, scarcity of numbers preventing a third grade, team being raised, as? heretofore. At present the club were in a good financial position, having £5 Is 7d on hand. The election of office-bearers resulted as follows : —President, Mr John Mathews, sen. ; vice-presidents—Messrs F. Field, R, Millar, j\m., R. ATTaggart, G. S. M‘Dermott, J. E. Robertson, N. Gordon,, A Jack ; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr A. CMsholm; auditor and delegate, Mr J. Mathews, jun. : custodian, Mr T. Jack; practice captain, Mr Gus. Miller: deputy captain, Mr A. Jack. It was resolved to appoint three playing members—the captain, deputy-captain, and Mr Dodd—as a selection committee. General Committee—Messrs Miller, Jack, Chisholm, Ballantvne, and Mathews. iue subscription for playing members was fixed at 6s. honorary members 2s 6d. It was decided to open the season tomorrow.
