STOCK EXCHANGE NOTES. River height. 6ft Bin. Wide markets and no business was the condition of affairs on the share mai'cet this morning. It applies in particular to Golden Bed, in which most business has been doing of late. Buyers sheered off the stock this morning. With such a sensitive market as exists at present it is difficult to definitely assign any reason for the weakness, but it is not generally believed that it is altogether due to the operations of those speculators whose practice it is to " buy in for a rise." In sluicing ventures there was again inquiry for Tinkers, and demand was made for Roxburgh Amalgamated. The investment market was almost neglected.
